HOME RULE BILL.
MR. ASQUITH DENIES CHARGE OF GAGGING. By Toleeraph—Press Association—Copyright London, October 10. In the House of Commons, the Prime Minister, Mr. Asquith, in moving the allocation of time for the Home Rule Bill, said tho Government proposed to give fifty sittings to the Committee stage. There was no foundation for the charge that the Government was gagging the House; but they were determined to pass the Bill this session. Mr. Asquith added that the Government was considering whether the Unionist leaders' Ulster Day speeches constituted a breach of Privy Councillors' oaths.
