Mr. W. B. Allen, the well-known Romney stud sheep breeder of Clareville,.has purchased Mrs. J. li'Causland's farm in that district, which he purposes making his-homestead. The price paid for the 30 acres and the homestead was ,£llOO. The annual meeting of tho Tarawa Lawn.Tennis Club was held on Friday afternoon, when the report and balancesheet was adopted.
