MASTERTON NOTES.
(By Tolegrapli.—Special Correspondent.) Masteriori, October 0. A man named Fitzgerald, in the era* ployment of Mr. B. R. Rayncr at Knknre, was thrown from a trap on the Carterton Road hist night and somewhat seriously injured. He was picked up by a passing motor-car, and brought to the Mnslcrton Hospital. At a 'meeting of the Agricultural High School Establishment: Committee yesterday a resolution was passed urging the Government to make provision this session for the disestablishment of District High Schools, and Ihe establishment oi Agricultural High Schools. A ladies' championship golf meeting wa? held on the Lnnsdown Links Inst week. The senior championship whs won bV Miss D. Booth, and the junior bj Miss F. l'erry.
