IN KETONE RAILWAY YARDS. Tho Wellington polico wore informed last night that a fatal accident occurred in tho l'ctono railway yards during the evening. Tho accident happened while an ongino was being shunted, and tho victim was Thomas Cook, ft married man. Cook was working underneath a carriage, and, evidently, his presence thero was not known to thoso engaged in tho shunting, for tho engine was backed into tho vehiclo. Tho deceased was frightfully mutilated. At 9.30 o'clock this morning Dr. M'Ar/ * thur, S.M., will hold nn inquest as to th( cause of tho fatality.
