A young man named Theogose has been sentenced to death at Grafton for the murder of Hooy, a hawker, on July 22 last. , The prisoner made a statement that he was getting a rifle out of Hoey's tent in tho darkness, when the weapon went off, shooting Hoey. Ho was scared by the accident, and fled.
