KAITOKE NEWS.
Tho general meeting of the Kaitoko Sports Club was held recently. The hooka showed a small balance in hand as follows :—Contributions, dances,. nominations, lato entries and gate for the sports meeting held in March last nmounted to .£l3 11s. ii\., and the expenditure on prizes to J!10 18s. 6d., leaving a balance in hand, of £2 12s. 7d. Tho meeting practically! resulted in a new executive committee being set up, but some of the old members were re-pJect6d. Those- elected were:— Messrs. L. J. Phillips (chairman); ■ V. Phillips (secretary); B. Browiio (treasurer); G. Phillips,'S. Moore, A. Frasor,,,. A. George. The chairman, secretary, and' treasurer were appointed a Rules Committee. Tho rules are to be brought up at tho next meeting which is to bo held on Monday, October 7.
