.T. ,T. CORBETT DYING. By TclcfrrHDb —Press Association —Copyrlcht (Kec. October 2, 11.25 p.m.) Ottawa, October 2. James J. Corbott, the pugilist, is dying at Winnipeg, of peritonitis. Corhett in' liis day was one of the cleverest boxers who ever held the championship of the world. He was born at San Francisco in 1880. Ho won the championship from John L. Sullivan in 1892, and lost it to Fitzsiinmons in 1897. FRENCH BOXERS IN SYDNEY. •(Kee. October 2, 9.15 p.m.) Sydney, October 2. Four more French boxers— Tnifficr.
