DEAR MEAT CRUSADE.

GERMAN SOCIALIST ARRESTED. Bt Telceranh—Press Association—CODjrlrtl • Berlin, September 30. Horr Liebknecht, the Socialist leader, while heading a procession of two thousand through the Hasenheide (a park near Berlin), in protest against dear meat, was arrested for refusing to cause tho crowd to disperse. Ho was afterwards released. Agrarian organs loudly protest against the new Concessions Bill, which enables local authorities to import frozen mutton equally with fresh meat, but excludes tho importation of frozen beef.
