Y M.C.A. OLD BOYS' CLUB.

The last meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Old Boys' Club took the form of a farewell evening to Mr. F. (.'. Atkinson, who has for tho past twelve mouths held the position of chairman, and through whose efforts tho club is now upon a solid basis. Meetings have been held each week on Thursday evenings which vary in form, sometimes a debate may be held, at another time it may bo some speaker will give the young men an address, and on other occasions educational or social activities may be going on. Prior to these meeting?. Mr. Atkinson has conducted a Group Bible Class, which was very successful, and every credit is fine to him for the splendid manner in which be lias worked this club up. During supper time songs and recitations were given by members of the club. The chief toast of the evening was that of the guest, Mr. F. C. Atkinson, to whom the fellows Were saying au rcvoir. and to show their appreciation of the splendid work he had done and tho help he had been to tho success of the club, a framed clflarpnent of a photograph of the Old Boys Club was presented to him. Mr. Mnthieson, who is to occupy the chair in fntnre, made the presentation. Mr. Atkinson replied in fitting words, in which he made strong appeal to the members !o siaii.l up for their club and to try and do something I for the other fellow.
