A SHIPMASTER'S TROUBLES.
SUICIDE AFTER A MISHAP. By TelecraDii—Press Association—Conyrielii (Rcc. October 1, 9.9 p.m.) ' Suva, October 1. The steamer Dorn'so (302 tops) has returned, to Levuka and; hasi reported That following the grounding of the ship near Loma-Loma, Captain Mahy retired to his cabin and shortly after was found ..dead. It is supposed that he took poison. A letter was left by tho captain saying that the troubles on the ship and at home were too much. An inquiry was held recently into the Dorrigo's grounding at Willis Island and the captain was ordered to pay JC2S costs. Captain Mahy was 49 years old and was an Englishman.
