BOY SCOUT CHIEF.
' A WEDDING PRESENT. (Uγ TelcuraDh—Press Association.) ' Christchurch, October 1. Colonel Cossgrove yesterday received S cable message from London informing him that tho Boy Scout Council has decided to make a voluntary levy of one penny from each willing Scout, in order to purchase a suitable wedding present for General Baden Powell. Subscription lists will be closed on January 15, and commissioners' in nil New Zealand provinces have been instructed to forward contributions to Colonel Cossgrove at Tuahiwi not later than November 30.
