The present week has 6een spring pro•duce- arriving at' the Blair and Allen ptrcets Markets, the consignments including a small quantity of new potatoes. A largo..fruit shipment -arrived during the week, and opened up in excellent, condition, meeting with. a ready sale. A small line of Tasmanian apples came to hand yesterday, but no sale? had teen-recorded yesterday.' Tomatoes are arriving in small consignments, and are realising very high prices. Vegetables are arriving in smaller quantities, and with an increasing demand prices have hardened. Cabbages,, choice lis. to 135., others Gs. to Bs. The supply of spring flowers shows a marked decline, prices being much higher than last week. Potatoes are plentiful, the demand being moderate only, at .£8 per ton. Onions are easier at Jilli to .£l7 per ton. Eggs are worth IOJd. dozen.

A Falkland Islands sheepbreeder, Mr. Matthews, lias purchased from Mr. E. Short, of FeUding, seven Romney Marsh rams for shipment to Sandy Point, Chile. Tho stock was dispatched yesterday. Mr. Short has also received nn order by cable for 20 Eomney rams for the Argentine.
