Two scholarships of the yearly value nf .£33, tenable for two years at (he 'IV Auto College, are nflcrod for competition by the Unverimu'itl. One of these scholarships, to bo called the senior scholarship, is open to all Maori Ws not over sixteen years of aye at the end of the month preceding tht> date of the examinat ion: ths other, In be called the innior scholarship. is open t:i all Maori' liovs under fourteen yenrs of age at. (ho end of Ihe month preceding the date of the c.\aininution who have attended a Native school or schools under tlio control of the Education Department, and whose Attendance at school during the previous year is considered by the Inspector of Native Schools to have been satisfactory. The scholars hips are open to Maori bovs on Ihe conditions laid down in the regulations of the trustees of the To Makarini Scholarships lund. The examination will be held at convenient centres On December tl and 10. 1912.
