AMERICAN GOVERNOR IN SYDNEY. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. Septomber 25, 9.20 p.m.) Sydney, September 25. Tho United States gunboat' Princeton has arrived from Samoa. Commander Grose, Governor of American Samoa, states that Rear-Admiral Ross, a retired American' officer, is unofficially touring the Pacific Islands and Australia and New Zealand. Admiral Ross is at present visiting Samoa. Everything has been quiet there for a long time.
