. TO PLAY BASEBALL IN AMERICA. .! By Telegraph-Press Aesociation-Copjrleht (Rec. September 25, D.20 p.m.) New York, September 25. Gregory proposes that during tho Australian cricketers' forthcoming tour of the United States, basoball shall be played vrith cricket bats, under normal rules, except that tho cricketers will use bare hands. The probable dato of starting the tour will ba October 3. It is suggested that tho cricketers' opponents should be a team of "giants" from tho Brooklyn clubs.
