PILOT DEFIES KAISER.
ANGRY WORDS ON ROYAL YACHT, EMPEROR REPENTS. Hy Telecranh—Press Association-Copyr'ieht (Rec. September 24, 11.5 p.m.) Paris, September 24., The newspaper "Excelsior" stales that the Kaiser, while on. board his yacht, the Hohenzollorn, on entering a 'Norwegian port, 'became impatient at the ship's slowness, and telephoned to the engineers ordering increased speed. Herr Nordlnrns, an old Norwegian pilot, who was.on the bridge, immediately telephoned to the engineers, to disregard tho order. Tho Kaiser angrily ordered tho pilot to go below. nerr Nordhuns refused to do so, saying, "Tho ship is under my direction, and not oven tho Emperor is going to give orders." Tho Kaiser then quitted the bridge. Next day his Majesty decorated Herr Nordhuns.
