-. Messrs. Dalgcty and Co. report:—At our Jlartou sale yesterday, there was a. good entry of slieep and cattle. Small mixed hoggets made up to lis. 12d.; good mixed hoggets, to 14s. lid. A line of 400 wether hoggets sold at 15s. 3d., and a line of 1310 wether hoggets realised 15s. Cull yearling steers,-31s. 6rt.; two-year dairy heifers, £3 ss. 6rt.; backward dairy cows, £3 lEs. to £4 7s. 6d.';'heifers, just calved, £6 10s. to £7 10s.; cows, just calved, £9; springing heifers, £9. The New Zealand loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and P.cducod, report:— At our fortnightly sale Himitangi on Monday we had a fair, entry of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle, every pen being filled. Buyers were present, and with very few .exceptions every line was quoted at full market rates. Sheep: Hoggets, (small), lis. 7d.-to 135.: store ewes. 10s. 7d.; ewes and lambs, 15s. 6d.
