»— A WAREHOUSE GUTTED. Br Telceranh-Presß Association—CoDjrleht (Rec. September 23, 11.35 p.m.) Brisbano, September 23. A fire occurred in the warehouse i of Messrs. Groth and Company,' oil and paint manufacturers, in George Street, tonight. The roof of tlie Empress Picture Theatre next door was scorched, and Messrs. Grolh's three-story building wan gutted. The damage is estimated ul .240,000. ■
