September 23, 9.30 p.m.) Sydnoy, September 23. i Recently a heated argument took place between Woolloomooloo and Paddington pushes regarding tho respective merits of the footballers Messenger and M'Kirat. Paddington, who supported M'Kivat, was worsted in. debate, and the police forestalled the intended resumption of hostilities' by appearing in largo numbers on the expected scene of battle. The weapons of belligerents comprised bottles, gaspiping, loaded whips, dumb-bells, and one revolver. ■ .
