On Saturday next all the units of the Coast Defence Command will operate as a composite whole, in a tactical scheme concerned with tho repelling of an attack by liostilo cruisers, complications in the shape of a landing party at Lyall Bay being added as a diversion for tho infantry and guns. It is again emphasised that defaulters from these- parades will be dealt with as the law prescribes. Men who cannot, for reasons of employment, attend the Saturday parades, are expected to attend the Wednesday afternoon' parades. While the Fifth Regiment wero on parade at Lyall Bay, Captain F. T.
