I EXCITEMENT IN SERVIA. , By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. September 21, 0.45 a.m.) London, September 20. ' Renter's Belgrade correspondent states that intense excitement has been caused in. Servia by-the circulation of a report— which had no foundation —that there had been a general mobilisation of the tribesmen. It is believed that war with Turkey is impending, and business is at a standstill.
MARTIAL LAW AT SCUTARI. (Reo. September 21, 0.45 a.m.) I Constantinople, September 20. Martial law has been proclaimed at Squtari, whither a divieion' of Turkish troops is proceeding. During three days' fighting in the Tusi district, twenty-five soldiers were killed and sixty-five wounded. The Malissori lost 118 killed fend 97 wounded. The refugees report that half the Christian houses in Gtisinje have been sacked, and similar reports come from lock. NO AUTONOMY FOR ALBANIA. London, September 19. Reuter's Agency at Constantinople reports that tho project of Count Bcrchtold, Austrian Foreign Minister, to secure autonomy for Albania is considered closed, and that tho Porte, is reassured regarding the situation in tlio Balkans. ;
