The Levin Home. The annual gift tea of the Levin Memorial Homo for Girls is to bo held next Tuesday aftenioan in tlio home at Ber-. hampore. At Die present lime there are twenty-five girls as inmates, and being healMiy-growing girls, with the full amount of activity common to children, heavy demands upon food aud clothing are made, and resources aro sometimes very heavily taxed. Anyone not receiving an invitation will bo welcomed by the committee—with their' gift of cither money, material, or provisions. Madame do Cisncros. Mndnme do Cisncros looked exceedingly, handsome last evening in an indescribably beautiful gown. The colours wero so subtly intermingled that it was hard to nay where one. began and the other loft off. It was of pale coral pink satin charmeuse, most beautifully draped over an, underskirt of heavily embroidered gold tissue. Coral embroideries, entirely haudft'wn, almost covered the tunic, which, was caught ip at ono side to the foot of tho gown with a band of coral satin' ornamented with tho same embroidery, ot beads. Tho corsage was high waisted and/ made with a pointed corselet effect, the same kind of embroideries being used, while on ono shoulder was theslightest touch of black given by folds of black chiffon brought over and allowed to hang loosely at (ho back. They were gathered in and finished by a gold tassel. A beautiful bouquet of very deep pink shaded flowers was handed up to Madame, and they made a delightful harmony with her gown. A gold circlet with a cluster ot jewels was worn on her hair, pressing it in to tho temples. . • There was a very largo audience in the' lown Hall, ono that was most appreciative. Tt. is very difficult not to be grecdv sometimes. His Excellency tho Governor and a party irom Ciovernment House were present.
