' [Specially written for The Dohinios.l FRIDAY. Pea Soup. Fried Hake. Oyster Sauce, Mashed Potatoes. Thatched Pudding. THATCHED PUDDING. £ pint milk, 'ioz. butter, 4. egg;, 2 dessertspoonfuls flour, 2 dessertspoonfuls sugar, the grated peel of a lemon, a pincli of salt. Melt the butter and mix with the flour and a little of the milk. Pour over the remaining milk boiling bot. Add the sugar and peel, and mix well together. When cool stir in the yolks of the eggs well beaten. Add the whites whisked to a stiff froth the last thing before pouting into the oven. Bake for 20 mm* utes. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Ox Tail. Pickled Walnuts. Spinach. Oranges. . FOR SUNDAY. Stock. Shoulder of Pork. Apples. Cauliflowers. Cocoa. Rhubarb. Cream. FOR SUPPER. Lobster. Aspic Jelly. Salad. Bananas. Gelatine. . Cream.
