The Chinese ten million loan has been paid, over by the London firm which negotiated it. September 19, 0.5 a.m.) - Peking, September 19. 'At a eecrot meeting of the National ■Assembly, the Acting-Premier stated that it was useless to settle the Mongolian question by force. China's, best policy would be to rely on her treaties. Referring to Tibet, the Acting-Premier emphasised the- fact that China did not intend to alter Tibet's administrative system. A Chinese Commissioner would shortly visit. Lhassa and explain the Republican principles. ■. ; The Assembly resolved to support the Government in any. reasonable loan Scheme. DALAI LAMA ETJLES AGAIN. Poking, September 17., The Acting-Premier has announced that the Dalai Lama has been permitted to resume his former functions, and that the 'Chinese Government has ordered the 'Chinese expedition to quit Tibet.
