Mr. Bryce, British Ambassador to the United States, in an interview on his return from Australia, refused to comment on the Panama Canal question. He said tho people of New Zealand and Australia entertained a cordial feeling of goodwill towards the United States and were extremely desirous of further business relations. He acknowledged the. warmth of his reception everywhere during his Anstralasian tour.
