9 (By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) Masterton, September 15 An ordinary meeting of the Masterton A. nnd P. Society was hold cm Saturday afternoon, the president (Mr. H. Morrison) occupying the chair. A letter was read from Mr. G. K. Sykos, M.P., covering a notification from tho Minister for Railways that tho granting of freo passes was impracticable. It was decided to write to tho manager of the Waingawa l-recHtig Works thankiiiß Win for a donation of top-dreeing. Tho secretary of the larajinki Agricultural Show wroto advising dates for their next show. Tlio report of the Ground Committee was read. Ihe treasurer's statement showed a debit bnlonce of .£llß9 Us. Ud., and it was decided that a canvass of Wellington be made between November 11 and 1G for donations.
