After having been delayed for three weeks bv the strike, the Kemuera left London on July 26. The second officer (Mr. M. M. Downton) reports as fellow.—Moderate to fresh S.W. winds were experienced across tile Bay, and on the run down the Spanish coast, and these became less severe as (he vessel proceeded south. Teneriffe was reached at 1 p.m. on Atlirnst 1, and after taking in 1359 tone of bunker coal, the vessel continued her journey on the following morning. Moderate to fresh N.E. trades were encountered with cool weather to the equator, and then fresh S.E. trade winds until arrival at Cane Tov.-n on Saturday. ■August 17.
