ST. ANNE'S CADETS.
ANNUAL REUNION. The members of the St. Anne's Defence Cadets held their annual reunion last evening in the Young Men's Catholic Hall. Newtown, there being on attendance of nearly two hundred. The clergy were represented by the Rev. Pnther Herring, S.M., and the staff officers by Bombadier Agnott. An apology was received from tho Von. Archdeacon Devoy, who was unable to be present. The annual report was read by Captain Martin, and showed the affairs of the company were in a very satisfactory condition. Father Herring, chaplain of the corps, addressed tho boys ond gave them good advice. Mr. Vernon ilaydon. on behalf of tho members of tlw company, thanked Captain Martin, to whom he referred as a popular and capable officer, for the trouble hr had taken with the corps. He called for three cheers for Captain Martin, which were given with a hearty good will. After tho toast of "The King" had been honoured, t> musical programme was gone through, and a pleasant function concluded with the singing of "Anld Lang Syne."
