SHORTT'S PICTURES.
The capital programme of pictures which was screened nt Shortt's Continuous Picture Theatre yesterday attracted a laTge number of patrons. A most interesting item on the prograraroo is the picture depicting the Arnst-Barry sculling race on tho'Thnmes. Matters of interest in foreign countries are depicted clearly in tho latest "Pnthe Gazette." The Nordisk drama, "Bound and Eeleased," is a lengthy film, full of exciting incidents, some of which deal with circus life. "Half a Hero" is the title of one of tho Vitagraph's latest successes. "Courageous, but Prudent" (comedy) is among other pictures screened. The programmo will be repeated to-day, and there will bo a change of programme to-morrow.
