r4 By Telegraph—Press Association—Oop.Tricht (Rec. September 10, 10 p.m.) London, September 10. "The Times" estimate of the British crops is as follows, the average for past teasons being taken ns 100:—Wheat, 80.15; barley, 83.1; oats, 79.4. ■ It is difficult to see where sound seed of any cereal will bo found, but there is still hope, with better weather, in Scotland, but the damage in England and Wales is done. The Agricultural Bureau at Washington estimates the spring wheat crop at 300,000,000 bushels.
