The Governor-General, the Duke of Connaught, and the Vice-Regal party have abandoned their plan for camping on tho prairies (luring their stay at Calgary, the weather being unpropitious. The Princess rode across the prairies for a distance of many miles, using a Maxican saddle for the first time.
