SHUNTING FATALITY.
VERDICT AND EIDERS. (By TeleeraDU —Press A.noclfttton.l Auckland, September 9. At the, inquest to-day regarding the death of Frederick George Faulkner, railway employee at Nwmarket Station, who was killed "yesterday whilst shunting. Iho jury returned a verdict of accidental death, no blame being attachable to anyone. Tho immediate cau'e. of death was haemorrhage and shock. The jury added the following riders. ' (1) That at Newmarket Station (hero should bo more than ono classified shunter employed. (2) That it is desirable that tho liros and limbs of employees in, the Government Eailway service shouki ho insured l»v the Government against accident. Tho coroner was requested to s«id a, copy of tho second rider to the Minister for 'Railways.
