Members »f the Jewish Literary and Debating Society were addressed on Wednesday evening by Mr. >.'. .1. Bennington, on "Colonial Dressmaker?." There was a largo iHidience, and they listened with interest to the speaker. Inter alia, he quoted 11 ml gave readings from leading Australian poets. At the conclusion of the address the speaker was accorded a vote of thanks. On Tuesday evening, September 17, the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, M.P., will address the sociity on "Benjamin Disraeli."
