DISASTROUS FIRE.
BUSINESS CENTRE OF BUTTE CITST , DESTROYED. By TelecraDh-Press Aeßoclation-CopyrlEit New York, September 2. A disastrous fire lit Butte City, Montana, a place of about 40,000 inhabitants, wiped out the business district of the city. A special train which was summoned from Anaconda was derailed while rushing to the assistance of the fire-fighters. The engineer «nd fireman were killed, and theswreck of the train, burned. During the fire in the city a building .collapsed, burying the chief of the fire brigade. When ho was rescued he was found to be paralysed and dying. Other firemen were scrinusly injured. Extensive damage was dono before the fire was conquered.
