TO-DAY'S DINNER.

MONDAY. Vermicelli soup. Exeter stew. Potatoes. Leek,-:. Queen of pudding.?. QUEEN" OV PUDDINGS. Two cups cf breadcrumb?, one pint of milk, three eggs, oiie dessertspoonful of sugar, half-ounce biittcr, two bananas, or two tablespoon fills jam. Boil the milk an<l pour it over the breadcrumbs. Beat in the sugar, butter, and yolks of eg;;?. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. Then spread the bananas, mashed smoothly with a fork, over thetop,- or jam may be used instead. Beat the whites to a stiff froth, add three tablcspoonfuls of sugar, piled rockiiy over the mashed banana*, and bako until a pale brown. A teaspoonful of lemon juicc is a great improvement. FOR TOMORROW. Half a pint of lentils (soaked overnight), neclc of mutton, capers, carrots, turnips, chocolate.
