'I ho Minister, in reply, said that ha was bound to say that ho had heard a good many motor-car owners, who were desirous of touring south, stating that Uiey wero practically debarred from bringing their ears owing to the extoitiomiuo charges by the Union Company. lie would be pleased to make representations to tho company on behalf of tho government, but tho Government exorcised no control over tho tariff charged by tho _ Union and Huddart Parker Companies.
