OTAKI NOTES.
The annual reunion of the Ohau Ladies' Hockey Club was held on. Wednesday evening, when the hall was ;packed. The building was decorated with liikau palms, and colours of the club, while a miniature hockey field was conspicuous, over which flouted the -banner won 'on several occasions by the .Ohau Club, and which is now the property of tho Otaki peoplo. During the evening Mr. Byron Brown presented the trophies.' The recipients were Misses l\ansfield, Rawiri, O'Brien, Tarnehana, Mesdaines Perawiti aud Whiley. At the conclusion cheers were given for Mr. Brown'and also for Mr. Nicolson (coach of tho winning, team). A social evening was held on Thursday by associates and members of the Girls' Friendly Club. There was a large muster, and ga.nes, songs, etc.,-helped to pass b:>th a pleasant and profitable evening. Those responsible for the success of the evening were Misses Ivy Hull, R. Adsett, Patching, and Granfiold.
