♦ i REGULATIONS TO BE RELAXED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht Melbourne, August 2D. ■ Mr. Tudor, Federal Minister for Trade and Customs, in reply to a request to relax the regulations against tho importation of potatoes v owing to high prices, said it had been decided to modify the prohibition somewhat temporarily until local supplies were more adequate, but special precaution must be taken against disease, and potatoes would not be admitted unless certified as sound.
