The Birmingham Anti-Insurance League, with a membership of 14,000, is petitioning the King to' dissolve Parliament, go as to enable the country to express an opinion on the National Insurance Act. lhe majority of the engineers' apprentices at Glasgow, who struck against having their insurance premiums deducted from their wages, have resumed work.
