» J2501 DAMAGES CLAIMED. (By TelßJraph— Press Association.) Christchurch, August 29. Dr. Barclay has issued a writ for alleged slander and libel against the Workers' Union and ite president, olaiming ,£5Ol damages. Thecase is to be hoard at the December sittings of the Supreme Court. The alleged objectionable matter appeared in a" report of the union's meetings.
