LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.
ESTATE IN SOUTHLAND PURCHASED. The Maori Hill Estate in Southland has been purchased by the Government for close settlement. It comprises 3500 acres of good agricultural land. Negotiations aro in progress for the purchase of three other estates.
