GENERAL BOOTH.
A ROYAL WREATH. By Telceraiih-Prcss Aesociation-CoDjriizlit (Rcc. August 27, 9.35 p.m.) London, August 27. 'A wreath sent by the King and Queen, and measuring four feet in diameter, has been placed at. the head of General Booth's coffin at Clapton. The wreath consists of arum lilies, orchids, lilies of the valley, and is tied with a purple how, ornamented with sprays of palm. It bears an inscription stating that it is a mark of the regard and high esteem in which their Majesties held General Booth. The American Ambassador, Mr. Whitelaw Eeid, has also sent a wreath.
PERTH MEMORIAE SERVICE. Perth, August 27. Tho General Booth memorial service was attended by tho Governor (Sir Gerald Strickland), tho Anglican Bishop of Perth (Dr. Riley), and members of tho Ministry.
