FLOODS IN ENGLAND.

Several children havo been • drowned at Khomlda. v Moods Imvo severed tho railway communication to Norwich, and an express has boon blocked at King's Lynn. Other trains are at a standstill in eonsequonco of the lloocU extinguishing the engine fires. Tho branch railways to Mundesley, Sherringham, and Cromer have boon closed. The Valley of tho Nene is flooded, and Thrapston has been transformed into an island. Corby Tunnel has been inundated. Yesterday the rainfall totalled six inches at Norwich, and two inches on tho eastern coast. A party of wheat exporters at Bristol motored through tho wheat districts, and found every field showing out badly and irretrievably damaged. .The conditions are equally bad in the Vale and Top of the Cotswolds, and aro duo to several days' rain with higher temperatures.
