MALISSORI REPULSED.
AN UNSUCCESSFUL ATTACK. Constantinople, August 23. Four hundred Malissori tribesmen in Albania, led by priests, attacked Durazzo, fifty-two miles south of Scutari. They wore repulsed, thirty being killed and seventy wounded. Six of tho defenders wero killed. THE UNBELOVED TURK. A DEPUTATION TO ROME. (Rec. August 25, 5 p.m.) Athens, August 24. A deputation of natives of tho Aegean islands is proceeding to Rome to request Italy not to restore the islands U> Turkey. TURKISH REINFORCEMENTS. MONTENEGRINS AT BERANA. DISPERSE. (Rec. August 26, 0.55 a.m.) Constantinople, August 25. Djavid Pasha, Commander of tho Seventh Army Corps, has entered Berana, and tho Montenegrins have dispersed. The situation on the frontier has improved. Russia and Austria-Hungary have made urgent representations ,to the Porte to ratify tlio protocol of 1908 relating- to tlio modification of tho frontier in the Jezero district. It is understood that the Porto will acquiesce. ! i
