Morgan clnd Co., and his associates underwrote 3,000,000 dollars (XGOO.OOO) to nominate Mr. Roosevelt. Tho committee decided to examine Mr; Archbold, of tho Standard Oil Trust, and others involved.

Senator Eeed declared: "We intend to ehow tho people that Mr. Roosorcll's hands aro most thoroughly tarred.'"
