THE JOHXSONVILLE CLUB. The annu.il report of the Johnsonvilla Bowling Club say,s:— "The club was represented at the-Wel-lington Centre Tournament by two rinks, nnd by tlio same number of rinks at'tho Northern Howling Tournunicnt. The club niso entered teams for the • inter-club competitions of Pennants, Edwin Feathers, and Hill Pins. Townshciul, and the juniors byMr. Ferguson. The president will present a pair of bowls to each winner. Two progressive pairs tournaments were arranged during the season. There were good entries for the contests, and tlicy were much appreciated by those taking part. The vice-president presented prizes for the winners of these competitions. Notwithstanding that last season was generally an unfavourable one regarding weather conditions, tie members tick advantage of every opportunity that presented itself for ploying purposes, and" the green was. considering the number of\ wet days experienced, kept in gofid order, fer which jiur thanks are due to (he green committee and the caretaker.
