The Allan liner Corsican, which recently collided with an iceberg off Newfoundland, has arrived in Liverpool. At the time of tho collision the vessel was going dead slow, and this prevented a serious disaster. The stem was driven in ten feet above the waterliae. The boats were swung out, "but there was no panic, though many of those on board apprehended a repetition of the Titanic disaster. The berg towered high above the vessel, and hundreds of tons fell on board.
