AMERICA'S NAVY
ONE NEW BATTLESHIP THIS YEAR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copjrfeht (Eec. August 21, 0.35 a.m.) ■Washington, August 21. Congress has agreed that one battleship shall constitute the 1912 programme. The Secretary for the- Navy asserts that the decision simply means that three battleships will bo necessary in 1913 if tho United States intends, to keep abreast of other nations.
