Miss Mary Proctor, the well-known astronomical authority, speaking before, an Empire League gathering to welcome her, said her mission was to push on tho proposed solar observatory for Australia. The British Empire League would specially join with scientific bodies in Australia in carrying out the project. It did not want Australia left out, but if provision were not made here it would go to some other country south of the line.
