LEADERSHIP DECLINED BY SIR JOSEPH WARD. EXECUTIVE TO BE APPOINTED. A well-attended meeting of tho Oj>]K>silion party was held during tho dinner adjournment of the House yesterday. It was unanimously resolved to offer tho Leadership to Sir Joseph Word. Ho thanked the party for the honour dono him, but he declined tho office. It was consequently resolved to appoint aa executive for the purpose of carrying oa (lie business of tho party this cession. This executive will be elected at a later meeting.
